Meet Dr. Peyton Habenicht
Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, Neuro-Emotional Technique & Webster Certified
Dr. Peyton Habenicht-Rieke developed a passion for Chiropractic Medicine at just 14 years old, deciding early on that this field would be her future. As a committed soccer player, she sought real health solutions rather than medication for her injuries. After experiencing a severe ankle sprain in high school, she turned to Chiropractic Care, which not only resolved her ankle pain but also alleviated hip pain, GERD symptoms, and migraines. This comprehensive healing experience inspired her to pursue both Chiropractic and Functional Medicine, aiming to use natural remedies to heal chronic conditions.
Dr. Habenicht-Rieke earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Pre-Medical Studies with a double minor in Chemistry and Environmental Studies from Montreat College in North Carolina, where she also played soccer on a scholarship. She furthered her education at the National University of Health Sciences, where she completed the Doctor of Chiropractic program and an Acupuncture Certification Program.
From 2017 to 2020, she worked at Therapeutic Health Associates, before joining Cross-Up Chiropractic in 2020, where she continues to practice today. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Habenicht-Rieke enjoys hiking with her dog Hunter, playing soccer, learning how to golf, and reading.
Testimonials
Don’t just listen to us. Here are what people say about us
Acupuncture is based on the belief that life energy, or qi, flows through the body and can become blocked. When this happens, it can lead to pain or illness.
The human body operates as a finely tuned machine that requires many parts to work in sync. We understand the importance of looking at how structures link together to create swift and stable movement.
When it comes to healing, the body in particular needs an adequate amount of amino acids from protein in order to re-build the tissues that were damaged.
When structures are stretched and released, strength and coordination training must be used to balance the structure as a whole.
Our fast track rehab protocols determine exactly which movements and exercises should be utilized to develop a strong and resilient athlete.
Our hands on approach will allow you to give direct and instant feedback during treatment, so that we can measure progress and fight the problem at it’s source.
